10 Mind Blowing Theories That Can Change The World

Some people believe that at times coincidences are way too strange to happen, while on the other hand, some don't believe in coincidences. An escapist vs an idealist. 

But, what people call the multiverse or the parallel world, belong to the infinite number of the universe we can't even think of.

1. Great Glaciation

Great Glaciation is not actually an ultimatum to earth, but a not-so-friendly caveat. When the universe is on the verge of losing all its energy, it will freeze up. The heat energy produced by the motion of the particles, heat loss, which is inevitable, means the motion of the particles will eventually stop and everything will come to a halt.

2. Solipsism

This philosophical theory insists that nothing exists but the consciousness of the individual. The belief that the person holding the belief is the only real thing in the universe. All other persons and things are merely ornaments to their happiness.

3. Idealist Philosophy

The father of Idealism aka George Berkeley bickered that everything exists as an idea in someone's mind. He also argued that there is an Almighty and ubiquitous God who sees us all the time. He claimed that notional ideas are the origin of all illusion.

4. Plato & Logos

Plato argued that there exists a world of 'perfect' forms. Whatever we perceive, it is in its perfect form. Minus the reality-check, the mind creates a notion of absolutism. Whether it's diamonds, big cars, anything and everything is made of the same basic material, but in a different form.

5. Presentism

We often dwell and worry about our past future, but it's the present that matters. The story you are currently reading is present, and it's real. The moment you shut it off, it's past and it has gone.

6. Eternalism

Eternalism is exactly antithetical to presentism. It asserts that past and future are real while the present is not.

7. The Brain In A Jar

The theory believes that the perception of a human mind is solely based on their subjective feelings. Imagine being ruled by aliens and zombies in a jar. Couldn't fathom the reality, could you? This is the modern representation of Cartesian evil demon problem.

8. The Multiverse Theory

You might have heard of the multiverse or the parallel worlds. There are an infinite number of universes.

Quoting Lex Luthor: "I can say without a doubt that there are an infinite number of universes. Some are just like our own... but for one or two significant events, exactly the same."

You may believe that your favourite fictional character is real. The point is, there are an infinite number of universes, and these fictional, who we call 'real', do exist in some part of the infinite universe we believe in.

Ever thought what happens to your laptop when you don't use it? It stops to exist and would only work if you operate it. This is what Phenomenalism is. You keep wondering what happens to the objects around you when you aren't using it. The answer is simple -- it disappears. And would only appear if you see or use it again.
